3D Product Renders
Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats do you need to create a 3D product render?
Source files can be supplied in formats such as STL, STEP (STP), FBX, OBJ or SKP. If your file is in a different format, we can review it and advise.
How much does 3D modelling cost?
Building an accurate 3D model from your technical drawings - matching your product's true proportions and detail, and delivered in the file format you need - costs $570 + GST.
If you already have 3D source files in a supported format, this step isn't needed.
How much does a 3D product render cost?
Each final render view costs $210 + GST. This applies whether the model was built by us or supplied as source files.
How long does a 3D product render take?
Timeframe depends on how many images are needed. Typically takes around one week.
What can 3D product renders be used for?
3D product renders can be used for product launches, websites and digital marketing, sales and specification material, exploded views or component breakdowns, presentations, and print or digital marketing collateral. Files are supplied in formats suitable for both print and web use.
What industries are 3D product renders suited to?
We create 3D product renders for building products and architectural systems, industrial and engineered components, construction products and assemblies.
Why use 3D product renders instead of photography?
3D product renders allow products to be shown accurately and consistently across marketing and documentation. They’re especially useful for clearly visualising technical features, maintaining consistent imagery, and supporting product launches or marketing where photography isn’t practical or available.
